Getting Involved

Volunteering with Pond Square Chapel

We work with various charities and community groups, to support in the best ways our church fellowship can. We actively encourage everyone to get involved, whether in a small way with a spare hour, a year long project, or by helping financially.

Here are just some of our community projects:

Homeless Winter Shelter
We invite many homeless guests to our chapel as part of the Camden Winter Shelter programme, with other local churches, between November and February. A great team of volunteers support this successful initiative. Find out more.

Weekly Community Lunch
A fantastic local resource, on Thursdays at Pond Square Chapel, between 12 & 1.30pm helping people who might otherwise struggle, with a great lunch for only £2. Good food (supported by local chefs!) and an opportunity to meet people.

Little Village
On the first Thursday of the month, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon, we partner with the local charity Little Village to host a donation drive on their behalf.
Further information can be found on their website www.littlevillagehq.org.

Fair in the Square – Charity fundraiser
Every June, Pond Square blooms with our very own local festival ‘Fair in the Square’. Alive with stalls, music and all kinds of entertainment (even sheep shearing!), we run our own fundraising drive for Christian Aid. A successful baking stall, children’s face painting, book stall and teas helps us to raise valuable funds to support people around the globe who live in poverty.

Pathway Charity
Pathway helps provide Christian education for children in North London through school programmes, lunch and after school clubs. Pond Square Chapel was one of the charity’s founding member churches and continues to support Find out more.
We regularly review our community projects and partners to ensure we are helping to make a difference where we can. We want to be generous with our time, positive in the results we achieve, and transparent in our approach.

If you would like to get involved in any way, we’d be delighted. Come and chat with Jonathan, our minister or pop along for a coffee after any of our Sunday services.
