Sunday Services
Sunday services at Pond Square Chapel all-age, friendly services, open to everyone. Services run from 10.30am for approximately an hour to 11.30am.
There is a selection of hymns, songs, a children’s address, bible readings, prayers and a sermon by our minister, Jonathan Abernethy-Barkley. Members of the congregation will often read from the bible or lead prayers.
From time to time we have guest ministers and visiting musicians who participate in the service.
After about 15 mins into the service, the children are invited to join their own ‘Sunday’s Cool’ Sunday school downstairs with their friends. Some parents like to visit Sunday’s Cool or others may stay upstairs for the service. We are informal, so crying babies do not faze us!
Other services
We run a number of Home Groups, which are more small scale meetings.
Over the Christmas and Easter periods we also manage a variety of special services and events, from our children’s Christmas nativity, a St Martin’s Day Lantern procession, to a special all-churches Good Friday service. Keep an eye on our website, or follow us on Twitter and Instagram.
